So truck stalled and would not start. Had fuel pressure and was reading RPM at first. Suspected wiring issue, but found no open connections. Removed crankshaft sensor and thought I was checking the reluctor ring, but was the oil drive gear. Found reluctor ring has separated from oil drive gear. Looks like gonna have to pull front cover to repair and just wondering what causes this and what can I do to prevent it from happening again.
