And you still dont have to on the LBZ. I switched mine out and never reinstalled in the same hole and all is good. If on a stock injector and you have to you can do it with your Efi Live.

Nice to know. Thanks Henry:hug: :hug:I guess that is just for emmisions? I have seen that feature in my efi but, never used it.

Compression test shows all but one cylinder to have the same compression 360-380 psi. Cylinder #7 is a big fat goose egg!

Here is a pic if the glow plug that came out of it. Had some very shiny silver metal (aluminum I think) attached to the tip.

Cracked piston?

:eek:Ouch! That explains a lot!!!

Yeah! Now my buddy wants me to pull the injectors out and possibly sell the truck with bad injectors and a hole in the piston. I told him to buy a new rebuilt motor I'll install it and sell the truck for twice as much with new injectors! We'll see what he decides?!

I learned a very valuable lesson on this... Always do a compression test first! I wont make that stupid mistake again!
