I'm in the process of building an engine for my truck I believe I broke my crank but have not torn it apart yet. my question is though what bolts are not reuseable? do I need new main cap bolts rod bolts and head bolts?

Yes, to all 3 at a minimum. It is also a good idea to replace the balancer bolt, flywheel bolts and cam gear bolt. They are all TTY.
Guy has a post in here about how many time all the TTY bolts can be used. the only one good for one shot is head bolts. all the rest can be reused a few times before needing replacement.
That said, all the bolts are cheap so i would just buy new but keep the old bolts for the mains/rods so you can check clearances without adding added torque cycles to the new bolts.
