Just got a new code

My truck has never thrown this code till now. P0234 I'm not pulling a trailer, wasn't hard on the throttle, and my boost gauge read 18-20psi. I just got to the the top of a 6% climb and egts were holding at 1k. What in the would could've happened for it to throw that? And yes my truck isn't tuned yet. Saving for efi live.

Over boost?

Try and take the PPE valve out. My buddies truck kept throwing an over boost code with 30% injectors on his stock tune, no boost valve even. Kind of forced him to tune it.

With pure hybrid here. The truck probably isn’t running 100% as it is from the different style injectors flowing larger amounts. Coupled with more boost than it generally thinks it should see.
