An ls swap would be awsome in this car. Some guy in mi makes front crossmembers for the swap, drops a bunch of wt too.

I want to fully restore interior and exterior to all black......
then prob an lsx with a 4l80...
I could build the 302 but it will be slow and and suck money from me every chance it gets....
but 16 yrs from now, there will/may be a better motor.....the 302 in it is brand new so it will be the last thing i touch.
this will be extreme budget for now, I want her to be 3-7 before I even get concentrated on this. Then it will become something serious if she is interested.

Sounds fun John. When we were in Byron my daughter, 9 years old, told me she wanted to learn how to build and drive a junior dragster. Got my wheels spinning about a project for us.
