Been watching this forum for a bit. My Son owns a Duramax and swears by it and I have several friends that own them. I finally bought my own today after doing a little research and driving it. I bought a 2017 GMC 2500HD Denali with 200,000 mile on it. I had the truck checked out and ran a carfax (which I can say, I have never known anyone to continually take a vehicle to a dealership for service but the last owner did starting at 15,348 miles) and everything looks great.
The truck is a 2017 Denali with 208,000. Service records from the dealership show that the glow plugs were changed and the cat system was changed in the last year.
I'm new to the Duramax motor. What should I look for, expect, did I get a good deal (paid $31,000).
