Just got my Acer Aspire One in the mail today.
160GB hard drive, 6-cell battery, just got EFI live setup on it also, we'll see how the tuning and scanning aspect goes.

Keep this going. Now I want one but would like to find out what you that have them think. What a good idea. This 17" screen is nice but it doesn't fit any where in the truck where it isn't in the way.

I think I found my next truck computer, thats great for running the microsoft streets and trips with gps.

Best Buy for $350. I really like it now after using it for a bit.
What do you think about the Dell Mini? Sams Club has them for $245 right now. Was thinking about picking one up for the truck.

I still like mine, but, I'll use it more when Summer time gets here so I can tune with it.
I like the idea of these. It's a lot more portable and with the smaller screen the battery should last a whole lot longer. the price is certainly right
I thought about getting one like that but figured that during tuning I would get annoyed constantly scrolling around to see the full table. Now that my current laptop is starting to fall apart maybe I'll get one of these little guys.

Maybe time to get one too? I use the poo out of my Presario C700 and its been great up untill a couple weeks ago, it likes to freeze up now and has alot of wake-up/hibernate issues and ive tryed a ton of things to little effect. Anyone have any ideas please
