Simply running out of room for gauges in my truck. Insight looks to be a good option. I need to monitor Engine oil temp an wondering if There is a PID for this? Having 2 boost gauges, egt, drive pressure, and rail psi don't leave me with much options for another gauge

I did the CTS from the start instead of gauges because it has 5 PID's and way more compact then 5 gauges would be. Super happy with it.

Can I daisy chain multiple temp sensors (98608)? Will be purchasing insight and the EAS starter kit. Wouldn't mind pre and post oil temp numbers for a while and then swap one sensor to tranny. Even pre and post intercooler for a while would be neat

Where do you currently have all your gauges? 3 a pillar and 2 overhead cubby? If so there are pods available for above the rearview mirror and below the overhead console. Just installed a quad pod there w/ 3 gauges and an edge insight cs in our 04 LB7 dually this morning. But the Insight is nice to watch, but I do prefer dial style gauges as it's easier to see quickly I think. Insights are nice to help keep an eye on more gauges than what standard 2 1/16" gauges can. Much less room.

I run the CTS in mine as well. Use the EAS stuff to monitor my lift pump, drive pressure, turbo shaft speed, pre i/c, post i/c, and rear airbags. Don't watch all at once, but nice to have the options should I need, also nice to set warning on them, even if you don't monitor them all the time.

Anyone having any issues with the newer EAS external sensors, pressure or temp? I have heard Edge had a few issues w/ pyrometers in the past so just checking. i do like the insights and their capabilities. cknight199, did you have to do anything special to clear the edge pod w/ the dual a pillar pod? Nice setup.

3 on the pillar and 2 in the cubby. Nothing fits in the cubby or above mirror cause of sunroof. Had to mod the cubby to fit the SoCal pod.

I bought the gauge pod adaptor for the insight. I do like how cknight mounted the insight tho.... Hmmm

To make my gauges and cts fit I had to cut a mount that the cts uses if you don't have gauges. Sits flush with the dash and looks good IMO. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1380636503.155534.jpg
