I'm changing the I pan filter in my LMM the filter I got from Allison looks different from the factory filter. Does anyone know if they changed them. I know they have a new part # now. It doesn't go in real well I got it to go but had to force it. I need a deep pan which is what I got. Any help is much appreciated. I have a pic of the 2 filters but unfortunately don't know how to upload onto here.

Make sure old seal is out.
If you're on a desktop:

Make sure they didn't give you a filter for 2011 and ^ LML by mistake, The Internal transmission filter is different from previous years.
Hmmm..I didn't know this my understanding was Allison # 29542824 (deep pan filter) was for 01-current models
