My idler shaft needed a little help with very little grease from the factory. Fill the void between the shaft and housing and bearing with grease to keep moisture out and give it a longer life. Used a Moog problem solver hose to bring the grease fitting down to where it is much easier to get to..

Oh Mike I didn't pay any attention earlier....is that a super steer idler bracket? I'm guessing you drilled and tapped for the zerk? At first I thought you just removed the zerk and added the hose.

It is a Super Steer drilled and tapped pretty stingy on the grease for a "sealed" unit an a grease cup on top that came off a 70's model car spindle. The bearing was not packed with grease the way I was taught 35 years ago.
