That’s probably why everyone thinks I am stupid I just didn’t know what the build was I could clearly tell by the sound it wasn’t close to stock sounds like a damn stock car on steroids

He's not liking the way the turbo spools for his driving style, I'd look at a small vgt drop in turbo and just live with it at 600-650hp
I honestly don’t know a lot about a built diesel, that’s why I asked to be educated. The truck has 202k miles now. I am going to keep the truck. I just want to know what I have. Like I said, I got the truck cheap, and the guy who sold it had no idea what he had either. He literally put 2 thousand miles on the truck in the 3 years he had it. I had to figure out who originally built the truck. Unfortunately, I get smart remarks saying why did you buy it if you had no idea what you bought? It’s hard to research the build itself, that’s why I asked you veterans.
We aren’t asking why you bought it because we are mocking you. We are asking because good advice dictates that we know your intended uses(s). You’ve been asked by multiple people, multiple times. What do you want the truck to do for you? Otherwise, James answered you in Post 11 as to what you have - something good for 1000hp. If you answer the question, we can you help tailor the truck to your intended uses.
I want to build it to full potential. I had already replied saying what would you guys do? I know the motor can handle more than what it has. I also know it can be smoother. I am not in my feelings. I just wanted to know what an educated diesel head would do. It’s not easy asking for advice on something I don’t know anything about. I drag bikes and build r1 motors. Diesel are way different.
Full potential for WHAT???? FFS, I’m done trying. You build r1 motors - a guy walks in and tells you to build him the motor to its full potential. 1/4 mile at a time or endurance runs??? Are you a mind reader to know what he wants? Guess it doesn’t matter. Smfh.

Buddy… this is a generalized answer to a question. We have asked… a few times now… what do you plan to do with the truck. Is going to tow? Is going to be race only? Is it going to be street/play only? Are you going to tow, race and street play? And please answer ALL other questions in this thread as ive stated how before

When a vehicle is built there’s certain things you want it to do better, and there’s other things that will suffer.
If you want to use it as a truck and tow, drag race, fun daily driver, sled pull. All these things will have a different recipe.
When you say you want full potential that can mean totally different things to different people. It seems like the truck was decently built, I don’t care for that turbo choice but the truck shouldn’t run bad. It’s very important to have someone that knows the performance side to look the truck over because there could be something wrong with it.

What's the vin# to this truck in question? Get me that info and I can try and look it up and tell you what I know based on what pops up. Thanks!
