how to clean ac and alternator

while my motor is out I wanna clean my ac comp and alternator,,, everything else will be new or coated.. what's easiest way to so this to make them look newish

if you can tear apart your alternator and plug up your ac you could sandblast them. I sanded mine down and polished them
