How much shaft play is to much on stock lly turbo

I have an 05 lly with stock turbo 225k miles on it, feels tight back and forth but side to side has some play but doesnt quite touch the sides

if its still on the truck and the vehicle has be run lately and you feeling a good amount of side play is pretty worn but sounds still useable as long as you cant make it touch the sides

It will have some side to side play, that's normal, if it's to the point it's moving close to the sides and not touching it's good but getting tired
