How much pulse to be around 650hp?

I ordered a 10mm pump today. With my stock cp3 I made 580hp at danville with stock sticks and his 3794. I have this same cp3 maxed out with the new 60% lbz tipped injectors from DDP. im holding 185-190mpa at 2100us right now. Just seeing what everyone's thoughts are to reach 650hp? Thats all I want, I don't need an catastrophic failures lol

With stock injectors and a danville 3794 my lbz put down exactly 580 on a 2400us tune. Pistons lasted about 30,000 miles, If I remember correctly It's 2100 or 2200us with these new 45% Injectors and it makes between 650-700.

I know at 2100us I'm maybe around 600hp.. it feels a bit more than the stock injectors but not much. I suppose the new sticks don't return as much fuel.

2400 pulse should get you close. You’re already in the danger zone tho

I'm hoping with the 60% lbz (or 80% lmm) Stix, things stay happy near 650. Ill probably start at 2250 or so and see how things feel. I'll keep timing very conservative

It all will depend on the turbo you are using. On a 50 over S466 I made 742 at 2200 usec. Stock engine lb7.

Duh, for some reason I thought it was 01-05. Probably should’ve figured it out when he said LBZ tipped injectors. Horse a piece, piston failure or custom short rods both suck.

You guys act like I'm shooting 700+ hp lol. There's guys making 620-660 on stock sticks. These 60's should really help save things. A 2250us tune with a max of 18* or so at 195mpa or so shouldn't be too destructive hopefully.

It’s still cylinder pressure. Weather it saves the rods or the pistons it’s a win. I ain’t cracked a piston at 1100tq, so I’ll shoot for 700hp and 1000tq. My truck ain’t my daily though so if I break something I have time to fix it. Hopefully it don’t come to that any time soon. Maybe I’ll make it to 1000hp....for one pass....lol

I may have to get it on a dyno for a day and get it where I want it. Jags Pro Truck shop might be an option.
