Ok this may be a retarded question, but can anyone get me a part number for the little rubber bumper things that are supposed to cushion the hood when it closes? The one on my passenger side broke off right where it screws in to the radiator support. The expansion nut it screws into broke too. I've looked at 4 different parts stores and 2 different hardware stores today trying to find one or a suitable replacement. No luck.:dontknow:

Maybe this is a sign to go to hood pins and NOS stickers from autozone.

This is the piece I'm talking about with the broken piece still screwed on.

You just need a "U-Sert" kit, at least that's what we call them. They are crimp in nuts and the tool resembles a rivet gun.

Wow. $93 to fix that. Yikes. Definitely good information. Thank you!
I checked it with one of the thread checker boards at Home Depot and it was a M6.
