Oil accumulators are an excellent idea! We run them on our race cars and i had pland to put one on my truck too. We use Masterlube as our preferance. On our old alky 383 SBC, we had put down a good number of runs down the track on it, nice hi-rpm 700hp motor. We tore it down to freshen it up and everything inside looked brand new, no wear at all! after seeing that im sold on them

Accumulators are an excellent idea. They often use them in airplanes. While start-up wear is a good reason to run one, the biggie is they will provide oil under high-G conditions even if you aren't dry sump.

Look's like a really good idea. I wonder if there are any cold weather issue's as it can get pretty cold here -25 to -30 C with out warning. Over the winter season
