Oil accumulators are an excellent idea! We run them on our race cars and i had pland to put one on my truck too. We use Masterlube as our preferance. On our old alky 383 SBC, we had put down a good number of runs down the track on it, nice hi-rpm 700hp motor. We tore it down to freshen it up and everything inside looked brand new, no wear at all! after seeing that im sold on them:D

Accumulators are an excellent idea. They often use them in airplanes. While start-up wear is a good reason to run one, the biggie is they will provide oil under high-G conditions even if you aren't dry sump.

Look's like a really good idea. I wonder if there are any cold weather issue's as it can get pretty cold here -25 to -30 C with out warning. Over the winter season

From Amsoils website-Operating temperatures -30°F to 120°F

Also if anybody is interested in the Amsoiler Im an Amsoil PC
