Gauge Question

I know this is probably a stupid question but I cant find the answer I'm looking for. I picked up a set of Autometer Ultra Light II's from a guy used so I have no instructions for them. What i need is a diagram of the wiring for the pyro...besides the sensor wires there are three other wires Black red and white. Which of the white or red ones is the power wire, and what is the other for?

My guess would be red is power, white is dimmer, black is ground

Red = key on power supply

• Black = common chassis ground

• Yellow sheathed Red & Yellow = Type K Thermocouple wires connecting probe to gauge



then there usually for the illumination bulb one black and one wight seperat from the other wres

well I got my gauges installed but have a new problem, half of my gauge cluster is dim now
Is something drawing to much power I hooked them up to the SEO Accy fuse for keyed power, and the brown and white wire for dimmer control.
