I am needed to replace the number 1 fuel rail and am not sure which side that is. It appears to be the passenger side but before I buy it I wanted some confirmation for someone who knows more.

I don’t know what side to take off. I know my gauges show the number 1 fuel raid pressure sensor appears to be clogged on that side. Sits around 30 to 40% while the number 2 sides ranges from 5-70%, under the same load. I was going to replace the fuel rail and sensor at the same time but only wanted to do the number 1 side. But I don’t know which side that’s supposed to be.

I think you're not quite referencing the correct terminology. The truck only has one fuel rail pressure sensor but has 2 regulators.

Are you sure you're not referencing the regulator percentages? If so, they will NEVER read the same. One regulates the pump output (on the pump) and the other is the "relief" (in the rail) to the system.

What issue is the truck having? IE any codes, loss in power, runs like crap etc.

I could very easily be speaking on the wrong thing. It’s popping the code p0087 for low fuel rail pressure. I have done the cp3 conversion, put a fass fuel pump and stock filter delete. As well and new lines from the tank to the rail. I don’t notice any power loss when the code pops. It will only pop when I’m towing a trailer however. So I may have some power loss but due to the additional weight I may not notice the loss.

I would suggest you take a log of the truck. It's possible your tune may need adjustment, or if it's a "no tune" kit it may need a tune to correct it.
