Fuel press runs wide open

03 dmax lb7
modded lbz pump/reg...used came off a running truck
gauges
rail current tuned correctly
lift pump disconnected
aftermarket radio disconnected

start truck and the fuel pressure is at 27k..just like if you unplugged it ..
running wide open

changed fpr ,retuned it ,changed ECM,checked all wires to and from ecm to fpr ,tested them with ohms meter all checks out..ran new grounds from battery to body and battery to motor

truck has hurt some injectors because of high fuel pressure ..going to change them ,but first want to get fp under control before install of new sticks so we don't hurt them also ,,any help would be great guys thanks..

Had one do similar issue, we were told to try and slow down the duty cycle. but its a modded fpr. don't know if that will help any

is it commanding that much pressure? I wonder if there is a way to bring an outside source of voltage to the regulator just to see if it would drop the fuel pressure. but they use like 1 to 5 volts don't they? not sure how you could accomplish that but its a thought. and when you say they checked out with good on resistance, what was the resistance?
