Hmm.I'm thinking that i see what you describe. Right above this bolt I'm talking about. Kinda does resemble A pushed out freeze plug. Guess I've narrowed down where the problem is. Only thing left to do us tear down to the pump.

The last pump I replaced, had the plug on the rh side of the pump as well I have pics on my phone, but cant find my cablet to put it on the computer

well rgullett83 was right. blown out plug. that is what i seen with the mirror. right near the bolt i was seeing. what a pain in the ass geting that pump out. i highly recomend paying someone to do the job if you can afford it. now i have to find a pump and spend money i dont have. yay. heres some pics of this nightmare

I think there were a few used pumps on here for sale, the last few I bought from my dealer were around $600 before tax and core charge.

if thats a new pump I highly doubt your gonna find a new one cheaper than that.

I'm assuming its a re-man but it's the bosch. Free shipping too I believe. Just gota send my pump for the core. All the new ones seem to be re-mans from what i see.

Just got the pump in the mail and bolted it in today. Now I gota put the rest of the puzzle back together over the next few days. I cant wait to get this thing back on the road and stop driving my girls purple jeep! Hey did the baby arrive yet?

yea on the 8th then we get home on the 10th my bday and then that weekend my son gets sick and got better and then got sick again then i got it this weekend and hasnt gone away but i think im gonna go see teh dr tommorow. i been working on the twins in my spare time and i got the turbo drain y bridge lift pump and put the exhaist back togher soo i got my hands full i hope its all worth it in the end hope all goes well in the puzzle u got
