ford zf6 on duramax

Hello. Can you put a Duramax ZF6 bellhousing on a ZF6 from a 6.4 Powerstroke? The Duramax zf6 trans is harder to find, and I heard it is more outdated than the Ford version.

The Ford's are fully cast for Ford. I've gone down that rabbit hole too
