I live in northern Canada and have lots of rust around the rear wheel wells of my 2008 2500. I am considering going to a flat deck instead of repairing what I have. I also have a titan fuel tank for extended drives with my fifth wheel which I still intend on doing. My question is, does anyone know the weight of the 6.5 foot box that I would be removing? This information would help me decide whether I get an aluminum or steel deck or not do it at all. Thanks to anyone who can help with information.
