I ran DT max effort stock turbo, injectors tune for a while, would bury my 1600* gauge. Switched to Rob and it wouldn't go past 1500* not matter what and made 515 on dunbars dyno.

we have two similar trucks in my area with robs and DT tuning and they go back and fourth. very close, neither of us will switch tuners. I wont discuss whose got faster track times :D

And here I thought I had issues with boost leaks and/or busted intercooler is why my set up was going over the said 1200 deg EGT's. Glad to know I'm not the only one. I think I've seen close to 1500 or a little less. Anyone running robs tuning with dsp-5 ever run their tow tune at the track just to see what times it would pull? I'm curious as to what it would be. You can pm me to keep from clogging up this thread. Thanks.

I can get 12,3-12,4 from the mileage tune which is #3 tune out of 5.

On the mileage tune my EGT would be more like 1200-1300

Street tune (#4) is more like 1350-1400.

Stock intercooler/stock manifold (lml driver side)/up-pipes

It all depend on where people put their sensor too... just like boost

I am running Robs tuning as well. I went to the track last night and actually watched my EGT gauge. I was in the low 1400s, around 51-52 psi boost. I'm just not happy with my times 12.7 @ 107mph, but that is with 1.9 short times. What do you guys that run low 12s see for mph?

You have a correlation between your ET and MPH... You could squeeze more ET by going faster in the 60'. You could get probably 12,3-12,4 with a 1,7X 60ft and maybe 12,25-12,29 with something in the 1,6X range.

But still, if you are on a max effort tune, your mph is kinda on the low side... You should atleast get 110-111 mph easily out of your setup.

All depends on your race weight too...
What kind of rail pressure do you have?

My race weight was 7,100. I did not do any sort of weight cutting or anything.

My commanded rail pressure is a little over 27,000. I am seeing 22,000 to 22,500.

stock injectors? I was running those same times on stock turbo on my LBZ, but saw 1600*

Yes, stock injectors, but I bought a set of 40% nozzles that I will probably swap next weekend. I ran a 12.9 @ 103 on stock turbo, hoped to see a better increase than 12.7 @ 107, although my short times have not been there.
