Question: EGR valve ?!

Got my truck back on the road today, runs a lot better with the mods added.... one weird thing though is that I get a whistle noise starting at 7psi coming from the front....I did remove the EGR cooler but did not block the inlet to the valve.
Is it possible that I am hearing a leak as soon as boost comes up? At higher boost the whistle is less annoying but still present.
Drove with just the delete pipe, no muffler, no tailpipe it will take a little while but if I leave it as it is I will be able to tell vane position by the sound

Totally possible....Mine did that too

2 options- remove the intake riser and fill in the 2 holes or build a plate to cover the hole on the inlet.

Quite possible

I knew that was my problom because it spayed accumulated oil onto the valve covers

rule it out by putting a piece of masking tape over it and go for a drive

Will go for the blocker plate where the EGR cooler used to be first.
I wish I already had my delete pipe from Paul :cool2:
Will keep an eye on the o-ring , too.
Is that piece that connects to the Y-bridge only held by the EGR pipe?
