EFI question

I am currently running EFI tuning in my truck and i need to get a BCM flash at the dealer for a HVAC issue i have, do i need to remove the tuning before the flash to the BCM or will that even effect the tuning in the ECM. I am not worried about the dealer seeing anything but don't want to lose the tunes when they flash it or mess the tune up. Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure but I would tune it back to stock. After they get done pullthe tune back out of it and compare them to see if thy changed anything

I agree with you wik, I would load up my stock tune then after I get my truck back, copy the tune save it as stock tweak#1 then compare the two to see if they made any changes, and If they did then apply the changes to the tune you always run, This is how I would do it, anyone else have anything to add.

isnt the BCM completely different than the ECM?? i wouldnt be worried about it....

The BCM changes won't affect the ECM, however you should consider what may happen if your dealer does you a "favor" and updates your ECM to the latest stock file.

No it wont change your ecm unless the tech screws up.
