EFI LIVE software installation help

I bought the V2 Flashscan. I am trying to install the software on my wife's laptop computer. All I get is an error code. It says


"The requested operation requires elevation. Win 32; 740"


Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? The computer is an HP and uses Windows 7

Windows Vista and 7 have some pretty funky security checks.

Thanks. I think I got the software installed correctly. Now, how do I pull the OS off my truck with the tuner?

1) Key on
2) Plug V2 into vehicle
3) Plug V2 into laptop
4) LAunch V7.5 tuning tool
5) Go to the Flash menu at the top of the screen
6) Select "Read PCM calibration" from the drop down
7) Select "your controller type" from the drop downmenu in the new window that just popped up
8) Select "check status"
9) If status OK, then select "start" from lower left corner.

Sit back and relax while EFILive makes a copy of your ECM calibration. Follow the instructions that pop after the read is complete.

10) Go to the "File" menu at the top and select "save tuning file as" and give it a name.

For whatever reason, the thing says no ECM detected and "Status Unknown"

Nevermind. I realized I did not have the correct engine configuration chosen.
