With this setup is it truly on the fly tuning? What I mean is when i first hook up the programmer does it install all 5 tunes into my ECM and then I dont have to have it plugged in anymore to use my tunes?

Yes as long as you have the DSP5 switch installed.
One more thing, if i have 265 75 r16 tires now and say in a few years I go one size bigger 285 75 r16 will I have to have my tunes adjusted?
