ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Perf.

Need a little help here. My buddy needs to get his truck smogged and this code comes back, after cleared, everytime he starts it. Truck is a 2006.

Code started coming up after PPE programmer and aftermarket exhaust were put on.

Normal. I had this code all the time when I was using my PPE. Basically its a code that says you left the ignition on (without starting the engine) too long. Happened when I would change tunes a lot.

I get that one peridically too... It comes and goes randomly .

I've gotten that code too when changing between tunes with my ppe. I was told it was from having the key turned to the run position for an extended period of time....ie loading/unloading tunes. Once you clear it once it shouldnt come back untill you change tunes again.
