Has anyone ever cut their DSP switch cord and put spade or bullet type connectors on it to use as a connection instaed of pulling the ECM out and removing the pins. The reason i ask is i am about to take my truck in for a injector check and was gonna cut the cord up close to the ECM and tuck the wires up behind the plastic cover and just remove the rest of the cord and switch from the truck. Is this a bad idea or will it work? Thanks in advance...
