DSP5 switch

is there a way to make your own dsp5 switch from radio shack parts? i would like to get the trippin switch. but if i can build it myself i would rather go that way. guess i just like a challenge

I think I saw a thread on DP about making your own, Do a search on it and you might find it, its about eight or nine months old if I remember.

I don't think it would be terribly tough, all the switch does is vary the resistance to the ECM. You just need to know the values.

Absolutely.

The instructions are in the EFILive DSP5 tutorial. All you need to do is construct 5 circuits each with a different amount of resistance. The valuse are listed in the tutorial but are also adjustable within the DSP5 OS.

Yea, a lot easier to get an already to go switch from Guy.....Be careful installing the switch, dont lose any washers when you mount it.

You could actually have a DSP12 if you completely remove the tabbed washer that limits rotation.
