I can't seem to find what is causing this droning noise when im driving at low rpms and I feather the throttle.

Either it doesnt happen when I'm in 3rd-5th gear, or i cant hear it. I can definitely hear it in 1st and 2nd when im just moving from traffic light to traffic light or driving in a parking lot

Any ideas? Alternator? Idler pully? ps pump/hydroboost?

Here is a video, hopefully you can hear what i'm talking about

Sounds like a power steering pump whine. Mine sounded just like that right when i started losing fluid from a blown line. Fluid level good?

Yeah the fluid level is good.

That's why i was confused because my PS fluid has been consistently full or level for months.

Its probably time for a new pump any way

I will try a flush first, but with 260k miles, im sure a new pump is due

I guess I just dont understand how the pump makes the droning noise? I get no noise when im steering like you typically hear with low ps fluid issues
