Mike I bought a full SC assembly for my 96 cummins 47re I think.

Here is the problem. It shifts too sonn under light or no throttle. It will shift into 3rd at 15mph with no throttle input, however at full throttle it shifts way too late, lets the engine hit the rev limiter too long.

I have played with the t.v. cable alot and it seems to have no effect, maybe im doing it wrong??

What did Ron say over at SC? Sounds like cable adjustment.

The more the cable is pulled the higher the pressure and later the shift. You should have a bracket at the back of the trans, left side above pan, that holds the throttle cable. It may have to be ben backwards to tighten cable, Adjustments should be done a couple of clicks at a time till you get it right.
