Was moving a trailer for a friend. On the way to her place all was well with my truck.

After I plugged the trailer into my truck I ended up with several issues which I believe should be from blown fuses.

1 - airbag light on
2 - no gauge backlights
3 - no backlights on buttons for 4wd selector buttons
4 - 4wd position indicator light in the buttons not working
5 - HVAC control button backlights not working

Replacing the airbag fuse corrected that. I have looked at every other fuse I thought might be connected to the issue, to no avail.

IDEAS!!

With my hectic schedule I finally got time to dig into this deeper a few days ago. What I decided to do was to put a multi meter across the contacts on all the fuses while they were in the truck to check their integrity.

With doing this I found two more blown fuses.

The trailer backup lamp fuse, which I would have never found as I do not have backup lamps or anything triggered by them on any of my trailers.

The other was the TBC2A fuse located in the bottom right corner of the panel accessed inside the driver's door opening. Replaced it once with no change in dash lighting status, found it blown again and everything worked after the second replacement.

Has been several days and all is still well with the truck.
