Cracked Mouthpiece

Was trying to perform a boost leak test tonight and had a ton of air pissing out of the mouthpiece. Noticed that the seam joining the halves is split about 8" long. Just wondering how all the air bypassing the MAF would effect the way the truck was driving?

I've seen this before. probly from grinding it down to clear the tube?

How would the air bypassing the MAF effect turbo spool up and drive ability?

I would say some cause it would be getting air from after the MAF sensor. not a lot but some. guess you'll find out when you fix it. should log it before and after and see what you see on the MAF reading.

i would be more worried about the dirt it was sucking in lol. hope you didn't get much, I on the other hand was not all that fortunate
