Converter problems?

I have the allison 6spd with PPE stg 5 kit with there triple disc tc and just recently in 6th gear lock up only when I'm cruising the truck stutters and you can feel it pulsing rail pressure and everything is in line so thats why I'm thinkin more the tc any input?

You feel it pulsing rail pressure? How so? Do you have a way to monitor rail pressure quantitatively?

Ment to put comma after pulsing. Rail pressure is good I have both cts and my laptop to monitor it

Shuddering or stuttering, when a TC starts to go it will shudder. Do you have a lift pump?

Yes shuddering phone auto corrects to different words and yes I do have a lift pump

Have someone log the the TC slip with a techII and see if it is letting go...

mine made noise for a year i thought it was the ps but nope after the lift pump it all came clear the day it failed

I would say take an incab video and post it. Try to make it "shudder" for a couple seconds. It's probably not the converter
