Conversion probability??

So i know a guy who wheels and deals. I went to his house a couple days back and behold to my amazement he had a ZF6 just sitting there. And the transfer case was behind it. I've always wanted a manual transmission behind my truck. How much would it cost to make this work. If it would be less than building my Allison then I probably will. But if this is going to be thousand upon thousands I will bow my head and walk away from this idea!

I wouldn't do it if I had to drive in town a lot. But it is a fun truck. It's also nice that I have another truck I can drive that is an automatic. I'd do it again though.

I hate autos tho this is the first one I've ever had and I don't really like it at all

I guess I never put a final number in my thread. For everything I was at about $3500. Trans was $1800 with shipping, clutch was $1100 and all the other small parts were $5-600. Then I sold my auto as a core for $800.
