Do any of the more experienced guys have thoughts on these new s300 etr wheels?

my setup is twins with htt66 ss16cm with s480 and both have race covers .

I have toyed with the idea of getting a new 66 etr wheel or maybe changing the 480 wheel to a billet etr wheel if they even make one .

Im not sure which one would be best option and if i would see much difference .I briefly talked to a turbo vendor on the 66 and was told $750 for the whhel and would see a big gain

The billet 80mm would be a good investment, they run around $450 depending on where you get it from. Spoolup is definitely better with this wheel and seems to flow more on the top as well. I haven't seen any maps on them yet though.

I have heard the ETR wheels are very prone to surging. If that is true I would not want to put one on a S300. Those shafts wont take much abuse.

now for us guys running 475 twins, is it worth it to go to a billet 75m wheel? how does the billet 75 compare to a cast 80? as far as spool and power etc

or would it be wiser to go straight to a billet 80 wheel? basically where is the most gain for dollar going to be seen?

I've ran the billet wheel on an s475 for a bit now and the spoolup is a little better, it was already near instant before I put it on though. That's all I can really say about it so far, its been rain and snow here for the last month so not much testing to be done.

not the new turbos .... just the billet wheels that can be installed in the older turbos
