Here is an article that says alot about the up coming Diesel power plant for under 8500 GVWR.

Looks like Flashscan will be very busy for some time to come:D 330/520 out the door for a 1/2 ton Diesel sounds sweet.
I also read in another article that it will get 25-30 percent better fuel economy then the 5.3 V-8 gas engine. So it should be in the 24-28 mpg range. (Maybe they can squeeze 30 out of it!)

my old 1995 6.5 turbo 1500 was a sweet truck and fast for back then
loved the truck but comming from a 6.2 well that was a slow truck

boy could you build a nice racing truck from that

Oh well, at least I know I will have something to do in the morning
But this is one of the reasons we had a slight turn around wth the LBZ ECM, this is one power packed ECM and I would suspect GM will be using it for a few years to come unless Delphi comes along with something cheaper and better (in that order!!)
