Hey guys, not sure how many of you have a Freedom+ subscription but we are racing Justin Goode's 15LML body RCLB 4x4 Promod in Cleetus's Christmas tree race if you want to watch. Rick Flete's is also racing his Chevelle in the lil gansters class so it will definitely be a good time. We are using this race as testing for the Lights Out race in February. Definitely a bucket list race for us.

Wyatt Stengal came to PRI and then came home with us to hang out and give me a hand in the shop. We then made the trip to Bradenton and Witt recorded everything to make a youtube video. The long story short is we found more issues with the frontend of the truck. We left the NoMercy race with a hotrod that had made it's two quickest passes to date but when we unloaded the truck at Turbos&tailgates only to find the front coilover mounts ripping the frame rails apart which snowballed into a huge ordeal because they found out the coilovers where not installed properly. Thanks to a long conversation with Mr. Menscer himself Justin got everything lined out with the coilover geometry and got them re-valved for us. Unloaded it at Bradenton for testing and the truck went 40ft and turned left. Made some adjustments and it only got worse and after 3 tries we found that the rack mount was torn and twisted give the frontend play causing the weird toe in issues we were seeing on camera. So at 9;30pm Friday night they pulled the rack out of the truck and ran it over to Cooper Bogetti's house to weld it back together and added some bracing to keep it from happening again. Got it put back together and ready for the first round of the Christmas tree race and we drew the Turtle Miata(Turbo LS swapped). Well, Justin lets off the button and the truck goes 20ft and turns left. He tried to pedal it 4 times, but it wouldn't do anything for him. Get back to the pits to find out the frontend was popping hard on him. Jacked the truck up to find the frond diff was locked up like it had a spool in it but it is an open differential so either the spider gears broke or something because it doesn't turn easy either. At least we know what we need to fix for the next race. Unfortunately, we didn't get to show what we have but we know what it is going to do when we get all the dumb stuff fixed. The race was a vibe like no other and will definitely do it again if we are lucky enough to get invited back.

The part of the video where you guys are looking in that drain pan was like my Nonna with the olive oil and water in the bowl looking for the *Malocchio” at the kitchen table ?? Maybe you need to weld an Italian horn to the frame to protect the truck! Hahahaha.

*Malocchio - Italian evil eye (curse; bad luck, misfortune, etc).

PS- Got a video today of the left front wheel bearing is broken and the spider gears are friction welded to the carrier and the pins that hold them in are also bent! The gift that just keeps on giving, smh...

Finally tally on the damage from the truck is both front wheel bearings were destroyed and the front diff spider gear pins were bent and the steering rack needed to be better braced in the frame as it was twisting under power. We now have a truck that the frontend rolls freely so hopefully we have a much better showing in the next radial race Lights Out at South Goergia in a few weeks!

Edit-Just today found that the driver-side rear outer hub drive splines are also gone! This was discovered while installing the new TBM brakes on it which are amazing to say the least. We aren't going to know what to do with this thing with everything fixed!
