I have a long bed leer canopy on my 15' and would like to take it off at times as its easy to do. I'd really like to back into my spare bay in my shop and have a pulley system to lift it up in the ceiling since its 15 foot ceiling and it would be completely out of the way and I would do it my self. otherwise it take's four guys and its lifted so it is a bitch even with 4 of us. I'am sure I could build something but does anyone know of a ready made setup I can buy and it works?

A good friend of mine made one from a hand crank winch a few pullies and 2 2x4's. Pretty simple setup and he has probably $50 into it. the 2x4's slip under the front and back of the shell and have ropes that attach to it that go up to the rafters and over to the wall and down to the winch that mounted on the wall. Everything is out of the way with or without the shell on it.
