I recently purchased a set of up pipes and manifolds so I was trying to unbolt the up pipes and broke some bolts off in the stock manifolds. So what kind of bolt can I purchase at lowes or somewhere that will work as good and dose it need to be a certain grade or type of bolt?

I'd just look for a high grade flanged bolt if buying factory bolts isn't an option. I wouldn't overthink it too much.

Exactly. I just replace things with grade 8. Anti seize is your friend too

High temp nickel antisieze is your friend. It just helps that much more in my opinion.

I bought some ARP chromoly bolts for my up pipes. Instead of buying from a Duramax specific vendor and paying $15-20 for 3 bolts, you can use part # 672-1003 and get 5 bolts cheaper.
