I appreciate the thoughts, guys. I really do. I like the truck, just the engine is underpowered and definitely hate the emissions BS.
Just have to delete it and tune it. It might actually be a good truck after that. Its just too damn cold to do anything right now.

I did, however, find a nice 07 GMC CC/SB LBZ about 90 miles from me.....

DEF countdown started yesterday, too. If its not one thing, its another with this truck.

Took truck to dealer, as I cannot sell this lemon for any decent amount with emissions codes galore and frankly, Im not working on anything when its 5* outside.

1) New DPF sensor, which they WARRANTIED because the one I replaced in Sept was GM Genuine, with the 12 mo part warranty.
2) Replaced DEF control module. It had failed and was throwing P20B9. $600 + $200 diagnostic fee.
3) On test drive, DEF countdown came back on. Tech found that DEF pump/heater module failed. They wanted another $2000 to replace it.
I said, No. Found pump module online for $525, so will go that route.

Truck will get parked until Spring. I'll repair the DEF pump and put a For Sale sign in the window.

Installed the DEF pump using this excellent DIY: https://www.coloradofans.com/threads/tutorial-on-replacing-your-def-pump-2016-canyon.434086/

Roughly two hours from dropping the spare to trying to reset the DEF sensor. Nothing changed on initial startup. Multiple codes.

Used my scanner to reset the def injector, CEL went away. Unfortunately, still have one permanent P248A code, and the countdown is still on the DIC,

Going to make 2 posts. First one is for the DEF issue. Next is for the PM sensor issue

DEF Reset, see if your scanner has the ability to follow the screen shots i post here. Read it all fully before doing the test

Now if the PM sensor issue comes back, check these 3 points. X107, g404 and j131. Ill attach what other techs have seen and used to help promote connection. That stabilliant stuff the one guy talks about is expensive but damn does it work good

Well, sonovab*tch!!!! Gretio did it!!!! It got rid of that damn countdown!!!!

Drove around 20 miles, no CEL. Checked for codes, nothing there. Only thing I see is the DEF percentage bounces around from OK to a percentage. Who the F-k knows with these Gm parts....the level sensor might be bad on this pump. Oh well, Ill go out tomorrow and get another box of DEF and fill the tank all the way up. F-it.

Filled DEF completely (5 gal), did a Reductant Data reset, and everything returned to normal. Truck immediately went into regen after leaving the house, DEF level stayed in OK range on a 40 mile test drive to visit some of my former customers to say Hi.

Time to wash it, vacuum the interior, get the For Sale signs in it and put up an ad on FBM. Maybe Autotrader, too.
