What seems to be the average lifespan for Bilstein 5100 shocks? I have roughly 120k miles on my pair with Cognito 4-6" NTBD kit. Going to replace factory UCA's w/Kryptonite kit. Seem to have better reviews than Cognito UCA. Debating if I should replace shocks too while I'm in there. If I do, it will likely be with Fox Mono Tube's (FOX-PSMT-4NTFK-GM8L-2001). Need to drive on the beach & feel if they're warm. If anything, bushings are likely toast. Front end sounds like a damn tool box taking a ride down a flight of stairs. Wheel bearings & tierods okay. Ball joints gone. 225k miles. Will either replace factory LCA ball joints or entire LCA. No real need to replace entire LCA - correct?

I would. I've seen the bushings get beat up with less then 75K on them.

Fox will have less shock fade when being abused compared to a Bilstein, they are rebuildable and much easier to deal with if you ever need to warantee one or more. If you plan on abusing them all the time off road, the Fox resi's work great also.
