LLY: Billet Valve Covers With O-Ring Thread

Who offers LLY-LMM billet valve covers with O-Ring thread for the PCV hoses? Most I’ve found say NPT. I hate pipe thread.

I had an fittings welded to mine, you could get them to machine for the o ring grove just need to call them

I figured. Just the calling and waiting on hold for something this silly. I wish they listed what the thread was. Some do, but all of those I’ve found are npt.

Mine where 1/2 npt, always seems to seep oil around the threads no matter what sealant I tried. Got fed up with it an had the stuff welded. No more leaks and looks cleaner

Exactly. Which is why I want oring thread. NPT is stupid and cheap. I wouldn’t mind welding a fitting on, but for the kind of money these things bring I should be able to buy nice ones the way I want. Not with cheap NPT threads.

The other option is to drill out the npt and go straight thread AN and ORB and use a crush seal washer under it. For the best flowing ORB's Aeromotive are the way to go.

I’m thinking about just having some made. If I have to modify it anyway might as well just build them from scratch.
