That's what this forum is all about.

Where should I drill/what size/what quantity of holes in the C1? We talked about C3 oiling etc and removing the full tgo kit. I believe I have ordered all the parts I need to remove that (see below).

I know for certain I need the following:
C2 return spring - 29536104
C2 piston 29539653

I don't know if I need the parts below:
C1 return spring assy - 29536198

One of the last questions I have. Am I able to stack Alto Carbonite C1s like G3 in a 5spd? For example, the G3 C1 (152755B) has 16 frictions (0.067"), a 0.450" top pressure plate, and a both a 0.086" and 0.103" bottom apply plate and frictions are stacked facing down.

The Carbonite C1 (152755) has 14 frictions (0.067") and a 0.197" bottom apply plate. Clutches are stacked with friction material facing up according to the alto document.

Do not only run 14 c1 at your power level..105 apply plate 16 c1 .390ish top plate. With your billet input shaft you may end up in the .375-.380ish area to get your clearance.

As for up or down if you stack friction facing down you start with a external spline and if you stack facing up you start internal spline if you need to question why think about what’s going with that clutch and it makes it easy.

Thank you Evan, my question wasn't so much what clutch to start with etc as it was more so can I stack the Carbonite C1 like the G3 and GPZ directions with 16 frictions. I've only ever used GPZ C1 in the few transmissions I have done as they were intended for high usage and I didn't want to take a chance with Carbonite's shedding material or G3 being too aggressive. I couldn't think of a reason why I wouldn't be able to stack them in a 16 friction stack like GPZ or G3 but I wanted to ask those of you who are more knowledgable.

I have a few different top plates here that I can play around with in terms of setting clearance.
