look up philtopgun on youtube, I raced a 275hp Spartan on the 1/8 and got him with a 8.8... A guy with a 310 spartan ran a 8.5 when I left... I prob have half the mods you do... I say get video:thumb:

I will be getting a video. Been digging around on my competition and one is a dually(2wd) with sct and N02 and other(4wd) with just sct. With the weight and power 310 to 345 looking at mid 13's to high 12's. It's always good to know everyone around that has anything to do with diesels! Haha
My 8th mph is 85/86 with slick bfg's and 8.0-8.1. So hopefully the hg's will be finished this week and get to use my m&hs in the cool weather.
that 8.0 is fuel only, so fuel to fuel, its not even a race, you got'em hands down. Now he adds the bottle and you can call it a race.

That damn good with 40's!!! I had 40's on my truck with a 12" lift and them suckers are heavy! First thing to go... Drive shaft! Or gears and locker like I broke on mine.
im new to the site and diesels, and just happened to read this thread, buy why is it that ppe and other companies only tune the duramax to like 120hp? max ive seen is 160hp. but how can these powerjokes run like a 300hp tune? im kinda confused on how all of this works lol. sorry if i posted this in the wrong section
PPE has tunes far and above 160hp... so do other tuners. Off hand, I know Quadzilla tunes (rated as rwhp) are good up to 215, and PPE goes up to 400+ with supporting fuel/turbo upgrades.
If you use EFI Live, you can build tunes as big as you wants providing you have the hard parts to support it.

i know on the 6.4s they come for international rated for 425hp then ford detuned the sh!t out of them so thats how they can get a 300hp tune out of them

Well after finally getting my HG's done with new arp's and hopfully getting the damn elbow to stay in the bridge. Once I do the boost test and everthing works and don't leak I'll get this race on track again!
