You better be raising hell with them and making them foot the bill thats bs. If you installed the pan according to their instructions then that puts the fault on them. I would even consider getting a lawyer.
you sure you didn't used to much silicone and it got down the threaded area?silicone hydraulic the bottom of wall area.
its like when someone uses too much oil on a bolt and crank it down,fluids don't compress.
OK here is a photo of the actual bolts taken out of the banana panIf the pan is thicker that's why there bolts are longer do you have a ton of silicone on the ends of the bolts?
