banana pan bolts

I recently purchased a banana pan for my 08 lmm 250 miles later spun all mains and the following pictures are what I found. I noticed all the bolts supplied with banana pan were longer than the original pan bolts.

It broke the upper around the bolt holes for the lower? Least I think that's what I'm seeing that blows man

yep and as you can see there were two of the bolt holes that did not break those were not tight. I noticed those because the supplied washers were loose. I used 1/4 drive ratchet as to not over tighten them also. I have a block that might be ruined will find out tomorrow, and as a consumer there is nothing I can do either just lost about 2500.00. more pictures of pistons rods and main caps!!!!!

You better be raising hell with them and making them foot the bill thats bs. If you installed the pan according to their instructions then that puts the fault on them. I would even consider getting a lawyer.

you sure you didn't used to much silicone and it got down the threaded area?silicone hydraulic the bottom of wall area.
its like when someone uses too much oil on a bolt and crank it down,fluids don't compress.

And this is why.... how can he prove anything it'll turn into a small claims deal till 5k and then you'd have to go for a lot more to even interest a lawyer in pursuing it

Post a picture of rue banana pan and stock pan thickness around the bolt holes

I do not have the stock pan but I posted pictures on my facebook page I will look at them but the banana pan is thicker. I am also going to check out the silicone theory that is also possible never thought of that!!!! No I am not going to try to get banana pan to pay because of what he said lol plus I should have checked it out.

If the pan is thicker that's why there bolts are longer do you have a ton of silicone on the ends of the bolts?
