Hello all, we've all probably seen the new wheel bearing and CV axle company come onto he market called Axiom Supply and Reaper Axles.

Website: https://axiomsupply.com/

I've got a set of bearings and CVs here for my personal LB7 as well as bearings for our shop 04 F250 CCSB 6.0L Powerstroke that plows commercially and is flat out abused.

Initial impressions of the parts is refreshing. The quality/feel/look of the components reminds me to the days when Timken was "top dog" and couldn't be beat. I do not know who produces Axiom's components but from what I've been told by one of the owners (friend of mine), everything is USA made by smaller machine shops which is supported by the perceived quality/fit-and-finish.

With all of that said, I did reach out to them and see if they would authorize a forum sale or group buy, to which they said yes. The owner I know/interface with is a big time Duramax enthusiast that most of us I bet know or have heard of, but that is for him to make that information known and not myself.

Pricing is below. If we can get enough members "locked-in" for a sale, I have been told we can drop the price further. These are for 01-10 trucks only at this time, unfortunately they do not have bearing and axle SKUs for 11+ trucks.

Wheel Bearings: Retail is $259.99, I am allowed to offer them here for $230 shipped. Add $50 per bearing if you want new hub bolts ($8.99ea)/dust cap ($8.99)/o-ring ($5.99).
01-07 Classic Bearing
07-10 New Body Bearing

CV Axles: Retail is $369.99, I am allowed to offer them here for $300 shipped.

Do we need to have a certain number of orders to get that pricing? and is this a limited time deal like 30 days or is it going for the time being unless pricing changes like things some time do Quarterly depending on material cost and what not?

At the moment I am told there is no limit/duration but that is susceptible to change at their discretion.

I've been told I can "open the floodgates" so I don't believe this is a 2-3 person and done type thing.

How does the cv compare to other brands such as Napa HD cv shafts? How does it react in tight corners in 4wd? That being said, since mine is lowered, it's pretty hard on the stock cv when turning at full lock. The angles aren't bad but they're slightly above level and they clunk and bind pretty bad trying to make a tight turn.

I take back everything I said earlier and apologize. Those look like very well made parts. Good to have another option.

Thanks for the group buy idea, Brad.

Honestly I cannot comment on a truck being lowered but I can confirm these things have been more forgiving that OEM CVs on leveled trucks.

Tom, zero need to apologize. I figured I would put in some leg work to try and get a group buy going here for two reasons, helping them get their name out there and helping members get quality parts at a reduced price.

The only thing I can say is I've been impressed with their parts. While I don't have years and years of experience with their product line, I am very confident they're at least on par with 99% of other options as I've got that much history with them. They're showing great promise that's for sure!

I like the fact they're plated / coated for corrosion. Sick and tired of painting my CV's before I install a set.

Their Sway bar end links are very enticing to me.. Might have to try and set and buy a set of CV's the next time i need a set!

It is very nice to see someone doing that, it just keeps parts looking nice!

I am an Axiom dealer if you were interested in any of their other products, these are just the ones I've secured better pricing on.

After over 20 years wrenching on these things I have my doubts that they make anything to be honest. Hub looks like a coated version of any other 515098 part number offered by the various foreign brands. Might possibly even be a rebranded Moog part, since they now have a coated offering for those. Swaybar links & keys look identical to kryptonite offerings.

Just another company selling rebranded foreign crap.

Personally I completely disagree with you on being rebranded Moog or Chineese parts at least when talking about the bearings, that is incorrect information.

I cannot speak to where the other parts are made but that's not the case with their bearings.

Come on man, you own a shop you should know better than buy into bs like this. Cheap ass laser etching for logos, part numbers matching every other foreign hub available with a different prefix. No real company info besides a vague website with selective products, that are identical looking to everything already offered for these things. The writing is on the wall.

From a business standpoint no one is setting up a new shop to manufacture hubs and bearings for old ass gm stuff in the USA. I’d love for it to be true, but until we get a walk thru of a US manufacturing facility I call bs.

Nothing more than clever marketing and a money grab. As is such with the entire auto parts industry anymore.

So knowing the owner for nearely decade counts for nothing, got it :) You're welcome to disagree, that's your right. I have not been provided names of machine shops they use and frankly I could care less, that's their business not mine.

Also, they did not setup a new shop, they assemble. Sub-components are farmed out to many smaller machine shops within the USA.

I'm letting the 75-100k miles of usage on customer vehicles (two different trucks in that mileage range) speak for itself and nothing else. I understand skepticism on a new company, I was too until I started using them. I had those customers' trucks come through before I even knew my friend was a partial owner and was impressed then.

That's the same thing I originally thought when Kryptonite first came out and I snagged the first gen tierods/centerlink setup. Come to today, they're one of the best steering components aside to rare parts for our GM trucks. Time will tell and prove people wrong.

Last set of Kryto parts that wore out on a buddies truck got warranty denied as he couldn't show proof of purchase. I don't recall it being that way originally, and seems pretty BS the way trucks get moved around on the market

I had a bad experience with a Kryptonite wheel bearing. Brand new out of box it had a bad tone ring. Couldn't see the problem, but it showed up in scanner data. I had to buy a new bearing and ship the old one back, I paid shipping both ways BTW, before they would credit me. Also, the new bearing I bought a few weeks after the initial purchase looked completely different. Thankfully it's been fine so far.

Kryptonite was Mike D selling on the Dmax Forum and then it was suddenly its own thing a few years after. At one point a former employer got on spilling the beans about them reselling Mevotech and other mfgr products, with a massive markup and difficult warranty process. I'm not saying that your friend is doing this, but I get the pause for concern.

I can say that I’m told that is NOT how Axiom will handle warranty.

That was the first thing I clarified before becoming a dealer.
