The wort has to ferment in the carboy for 2 weeks at 68 degrees F .then the priming agent has to be added after 2 weeks to allow the beer to carboniate.

I had one two summers ago that had such an active fermentation that it clogged the vapor lock and blew it across the room. Butt plug and all!
