Anyone got pics of 15+ style mirrors on an 01 or 02?

I'm liking the look of the new mirrors and thanks to some idiot last night I'm gonna need new ones. Anyone got pics of these? Not sure if I want chrome caps and paint the black or painted caps and keep the black. Also, anyone know of any I can put white leds in instead of amber?

I like it. My only issue is can I change the lights to white not amber? And my truck doesn't have much black left. All color matched with escalade handles. So I can't decide chrome and painted or painted and black

You can completely disassemble these a lot easier than the previous style. I've dipped a couple sets. You to change the lens you would have to pop both glass pieces out and then the lens comes out easily as well. You can pop the caps off these with your finger tips when they are on your truck.

There are several companies that make lenses for these. You can also go to retrofit or something equal to them for different leds

Holy dark pictures batman!
Question is how easy do they go on, how much modification to fit them to the body. The lmm mirrors required a shit load of grinding to fit.

Are the leds themselves amber or white beneath the amber lenses? If they're white I'll just buy ones with amber lenses and switch them out to clear

If you get ones from the dealer then you would have to do your own retrofitting but I ordered mine for my LMM from ECCPP on amazon and they are direct bolt on and they don't point upwards because the base is meant for the 07.5+

I'll say this much, I didn't get ones from GM because they were $700 so I got mine from ECCPP and when they showed up the bottom corner glass was broke so I emailed them and they mailed me a new one for FREE and let me keep the old one. That's why I know how to take them apart is because I Frankenstein'd that poor mirror so I can dismantle them easier when I paint and dip them for customers.

These are the ones for my LMM. They aren't mounted anymore because I'm prepping them for paint and dip. But the quality is good and they are decently heavy. BTW this set from ECCPP comes with a plug and play harness....
Lens are smoked on amber but I may go to a white LED.

There's some conflicting information there, they can't be a direct bolt on for an 01-02 and an 07.5-15 because the 07.5-15 has a goofy ass door with a large ridge at the top of the door withered the window felt strip is that the mirror hits. But the 15.5+ doesn't look like it has that ridge. Below is a comparison of 07.5-15 mirrors on an 11 and the same mirrors trimmed, cut and dremmeld down all to hell to fit on an 02. After hours of work the mirrors fit just ok but aren't wanting to stay on the anchor bolts keep coming loose because they aren't a flush for they fit very tight with tension against the frame.

Anyone got any close 7p pictures of the 15.5+ mirrors on to see what the door looks like I can't find any on Google close enough might have to visit a dealer lot and scope em out

You can buy the mirrors on eBay that are the 15+ style but bolt directly to an 01/02 and are plug and play except the lights.

My amazon ones are solid. At the end of the day it's really how much you can justify spending on updating your mirrors. If $700 sounds like a solid price then run that card!

Bingo. Honestly I leveled my mirrors and put in extra rubber behind them so they don't shake or vibrate and who needs motors lol set it one time you never have to adjust it again
